About Us

We are an emerging biotechnology company focusing on providing new tools and technologies to the stem cell research community. Our name, Mandala*, is the sanskrit word for circle. It was inspired by the circular patterns of cells that appear during the course of pluripotent stem cell differentiation. Pluripotent stem cells can both self-renew indefinitely and differentiate into virtually any cell type in the human body. Thus, these cells have the potential to provide a virtually endless supply of cells to treat degenerative diseases associated with aging or injury. We are developing enabling technologies and research products designed to identify, isolate and track the multitude of cell types that can be derived from pluripotent stem cells. We currently are hiring new team members at our research facility in La Jolla.
